I run individualised one and two day warm glass courses in which you can make and take home a unique item. Following an introduction to the practice, techniques and processes of making kiln-formed glass, you can design and assemble a piece of work that can be fused or cast in the kiln. The nature of the object you will make depends upon whether you opt for a one or two-day course. A fused glass object can be made during a one-day course. If you decide to take a two day course, you could make an item of fused glass that can be slumped to make a plate, platter or bowl; or you can design an object for casting into a handmade mould.
Each course costs £80 per person per day and includes all materials. A maximum of 4 people can be accommodated in the studio. The East Wing, a two bedroomed part of our Breton manoir provides the accommodation.
