Glass making

I make IMG_0306kiln-formed glass objects, jewellery, art and sculpture from my “cow shed” studio in Brittany, France.

I draw upon a range of techniques in my work to fuse, slump and cast objects that are beautiful, provocative and functional. The alchemical quality of kiln-formed glass intrigues me and I am fascinated by the ways in which glass can be formed and transformed in the kiln through the varied application of time and temperature.

Our manoir in the heart of the Breton countryside provides the perfect setting for my work.  We rent the East Wing of our manor house for holidays. I run introductory warm glass workshops for guests and visitors to Brittany so that they can take home something unique and personal from their holiday with us. You can see the house and check availability here   .

I also work with Melanie Pike of Pike Jewellery to run jewellery making holidays in France. More info about accommodation and the courses can be found here.
