Painting on glass with Joseph Cavalieri

Fabulous 4 day course with Joseph learning glass painting techniques. My design is based on grrrlzines: that is, little independently produced magazines for and by grrrls! Joseph’s work is soooo postmodern. He draws heavily on images from popular culture and mixes them with medieval stained glass style to create what I’d describe as “pop glass”. Check out his work here!

The Domaine de Kerguehennec

Fabulous day out at La Domaine de Kerguehennec www.kerguehennec.com. Linking art, architecture and landscape, Kerguehennec comprises the park and buildings of a magnificent 18th century chateau. The park is home to a rich collection of contemporary sculpture (of which my favourites are pictured here) and includes a stone circle by Richard Long. A significant collection of contemporary art can also be seen in the changing exhibitions that occupy the chateau and its associated buildings.
